Included on the ring is the HDMI clamp. The HDMI cable clamps to the ring with the adapters, ready for use in one complete assembly. When time to present, simply plug the HDMI cable into the corresponding adapter on the ring,  and the video will be properly converted and show on the display. The Ring Includes the Following 5 Pigtail Adapters

1. DisplayPort Male to HDMI Female 6″ Adapter- The full-size DisplayPort connection are common to laptops, tablets, desktop computers, and monitors. Thunderbolt connections are also backwards compatible with DisplayPort. Passes 1080P video with audio.

2. Mini DisplayPort Male to HDMI Female 6″ Adapter- The mini DisplayPort connection are common to older Macintosh computers, and other various laptops. Passes 1080P video with audio.

3. Mini HDMI “Type C” Male to HDMI Female 6″ Adapter- The mini HDMI connection is a smaller HDMI connector and commonly found on some DSLR cameras, HD camcorders, smartphones, and tablets. Passes 1080P video with audio.

4. Micro HDMI “Type D” Male to HDMI Female 6″ Adapter- The micro HDMI connection is the smallest HDMI connector, it can be found on some smaller DSLR cameras, HD camcorders, smartphones, and tablets. Passes 1080P video with audio.

5. USB-C Male to HDMI Female 6″ Adapter- The USB-C is common to new laptops, phone, tablets, and MacBook.  It is backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 3. Passes 4K video with audio.

Secure Cable Ring that Locks to an HDMI Cable, Easy Installation

The 6″ long pigtail adapters are attached to a tensile aircraft strength cable. Inside the cable are several stainless steel strands of wires, making the cable very difficult to cut. Adapters easily slide on the smooth-to-the-touch cable.  To install, attach your HDMI cable to the clamp on the ring, and installation is complete. The HDMI clamp can accommodate HDMI cables 4mm to 11mm thick.

The pigtail adapters pass 1080P HD video including audio, with zero degradation.  The adapters are passive, they require no external power to convert the signal to HDMI. The adapter connectors are gold plated enabling transmission of the highest quality signals. The Adapters can Easily be Modified as Technology Changes

A T10 Torx pin screwdriver and a 1.5mm hex wrench is needed to add or remove adapters, as well as to attach the HDMI cable to the ring. This item is purchased separately as part number Liberty AV T10PD.
